American Decals are made to order in 3 different printed media: wall permanent vinyl printed media, wall removable vinyl printed media, and polyester self adhesive fabric media, both Eco-friendly and kids friendly products. The colors are brilliant and the graphics will look like painted on your child’s bedroom wall.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FABRIC AND VINYL, other than the price? I'm glad you asked!

PRINTED SELF-ADHESIVE FABRIC: Printed adhesive fabric can be re-positioned MANY TIMES from wall to wall! Fabric can be reused and repositioned again and again, even on TEXTURED WALLS. This product is more expensive than vinyl but it is more resistant to damage, it won't tear easily as vinyl. We recommend applying to walls that have been painted (cured) for 6 months or longer to prevent damage to the wall.

PRINTED WALL VINYL (permanent and removable): It is a thin material that will look like painted on your wall. Removable vinyl is easyto remove and won't leave any residue on your wall, however, it does show issues with adhesion when certain paints are used on the wall (Behr, Valspar 2000, Sherwin Williams Showcase between others, to see list of recommended and  paints, click here) Paints with additives that are marketed as dura-clean, stain-resistant, or stain-blocking will have issue with removable vinyl. Permanent vinyl is the same as removable vinyl but the adhesive is stronger and will last longer. To remove permanent vinyl you will need to take a few steps, please email us or read our FAQ's area to find information regarding safely removing your decals from your wall.

WHEN YOU WILL GET IT

We make all orders by hand in the great USA. We process MOST orders within 4-7 business days. However, sometimes might take longer. (Specially big orders or orders with multiple items) If you have a due date or a deadline to receive this order, please contact me either before or after the order is placed and I will try to accommodate your request.

American Decals are non-toxic, phthalates free and printed using eco-solvent ink. They are extremely durable and won't rip or tear like vinyl. And yes, these decals work on textured walls, however, if your texture has too many peaks and valleys, the decal won't have much of a surface to stick to and it might get punctured, depending on the texture.
