Walnut & Butter works beautifully in entryways, dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms and cozy reading spaces where you want warmth and pattern without introducing bright color. Elsie is an original botanical stripe designed by American Decals. Inspired by the charm of block-printed textiles, traditional decorative borders and the relaxed irregularity of hand-drawn artwork, its flowing bands, leafy branches and small floral details were brought together in a pattern created for the Elsie collection.

Choose the 13-inch repeat for a closely spaced decorative stripe, the 26-inch repeat for a balanced medium-scale presentation or the 52-inch repeat to give the winding bands and botanical details greater presence. Our room images show different pattern scales so you can compare their effect before ordering.

Smaller repeats create a fuller, more detailed pattern that works beautifully in powder rooms, bathrooms, nurseries, and smaller spaces. Why Height Options Matter

Multiple panel heights let you choose the size closest to your wall height, reducing trimming and material waste. Panels are normally 26 inches wide. For 24in and 36in tall selections, we automatically combine panels into wider 52 inch sections whenever possible to reduce seams and simplify installation.

How to Order

Step 1. Measure your wall carefully. See our wall measuring guide.
Step 2. Select a WIDTH slightly larger than your wall. For a 120 inch wall, select 130 inches.
Step 3. Select the HEIGHT that matches your wall height.
Step 4. Enter your exact wall measurements so our team can double check coverage. Final trimming is completed during installation.

Panel Overlap & Color

Each panel includes approximately 0.4 inch of overlap for accurate alignment. Keep the overlap for peel and stick canvas and fabric; prepasted and unpasted materials may be trimmed if preferred. Screens display color differently, and CMYK printing may vary slightly from on-screen previews or between materials. We recommend ordering a sample first.

For bathrooms with showers or higher humidity, choose prepasted or traditional wallpaper rather than peel and stick. Peel and stick materials are better suited to powder rooms and other low-humidity spaces.

Coordinating Wallpaper & Fabric

Elsie Walnut & Butter can also be printed on polyester fabric, allowing you to coordinate the wallpaper with curtains, Roman shades, cushions and other decorative textile projects. The wallpaper and fabric are created from the same artwork and carefully coordinated color palette for a thoughtfully layered interior.

Because wallpaper and polyester fabric have different surfaces and absorb ink differently, slight variations in color, texture and finish should be expected. When the materials will be displayed together, we recommend ordering samples of both before beginning your project.
