Description
Watercolor Around the World Hot Air Balloon Wall Decal Set
Inspire little travelers with this watercolor hot air balloon wall decal set. Four softly colored balloons float among layered clouds, flying birds, a rainbow and whimsical sky details, creating an imaginative around-the-world scene for nurseries, children’s bedrooms, playrooms, reading areas and daycare spaces.
The coordinated elements arrive separately so you can arrange the balloons and surrounding details to complement your furniture and available wall space. Create a compact arrangement above a crib or dresser, or spread the pieces across a wider wall for a more expansive sky scene.
This is not rectangular wallpaper or a full-wall mural. The decorative elements are cut around the artwork, allowing your existing wall color to remain visible throughout the composition.
Available Sizes
Select one size for the complete coordinated decal set. The following measurements provide a reference for the hot air balloon dimensions in each size selection:
- Small: approximately 7.5 inches wide × 10 inches high
- Medium: approximately 10 inches wide × 15 inches high
- Large: approximately 15 inches wide × 20 inches high
- Extra Large: approximately 20 inches wide × 26 inches high
The balloons vary in shape and proportion, and the final dimensions of your complete arrangement depend on how you space the individual elements. Measure the intended wall area and review the listing photographs before selecting a size.

Choose Your Material
Removable Vinyl
A thin wall decal material with a smooth surface and minimal luster. Its bright printed colors create an appearance similar to painted artwork on a compatible wall. Vinyl decals are not designed to be repeatedly repositioned after application. Smaller or more detailed elements may include transfer tape to assist with installation.
Vinyl adhesion can be affected by certain low-VOC, zero-VOC, stain-resistant and highly washable paints. Order a sample and test it on the actual wall before purchasing the complete design.
Self-Adhesive Fabric
A flexible matte polyester wall material printed with GREENGUARD Gold certified inks. It can be repositioned during installation and is generally easier to handle when arranging larger decorative elements. Its soft fabric-like texture makes it our preferred option for nursery and children’s room installations.
Light wall texture may remain visible beneath the material. Heavily textured walls, sharp texture peaks and improperly prepared surfaces can interfere with adhesion.
Wall Preparation
Install the decals only on a clean, dry and properly painted interior wall. Remove dust, grease and cleaning-product residue before installation.
Allow newly painted walls to cure for at least six weeks. Some specialty, low-VOC, zero-VOC and stain-resistant paints may require a longer curing period or additional adhesion testing.
Wall paint, texture and surface preparation can affect adhesion. Testing a material sample on the actual wall is the most reliable way to confirm compatibility.
Why Order a Sample?
Order a sample before purchasing the complete wall decal set to evaluate:
- Printed colors in your room’s lighting
- Material texture and finish
- Adhesion to your wall paint
- Compatibility with your wall texture
- Your comfort working with the selected material
Computer and mobile screens display colors differently. A physical sample is the only reliable way to evaluate the printed colors in your space.
