Choose Your Decal Material
Removable Vinyl
Removable Vinyl is a thin, smooth wall-decal material with minimal luster and bright printed color. It creates an appearance similar to a painted design on a compatible wall. Vinyl is not intended for repeated repositioning and may include transfer tape when required by the design.
Adhesion varies according to the wall paint, finish and preparation. Some highly washable, stain-resistant, low-VOC and specialty paints may resist pressure-sensitive adhesives. Always test a sample on the actual wall before ordering the complete decal.
Self-Adhesive Fabric
Self-Adhesive Fabric is a flexible matte polyester wall material printed with GREENGUARD Gold certified inks. It is more resistant to tearing than thin vinyl and can be repositioned during installation, making it our preferred material for many nursery and children’s-room projects.
This material applies directly from its backing and does not require transfer tape. Light wall texture may remain visible through the installed decal, and heavily textured or sharply peaked surfaces may prevent proper adhesive contact.
Wall Preparation
- Apply only to a clean, dry, properly primed and painted interior wall.
- Remove dust, grease and cleaning-product residue before installation.
- Allow newly painted walls to cure for at least six weeks.
- Do not install over brick, unfinished cement or heavily textured surfaces.
- Wall paint and texture can affect adhesion, so test the selected material before purchasing a large decal.
After delivery, keep the package indoors and allow the decal to reach room temperature before installation. For best results, install it within 30 days of delivery.
Why Order a Sample?
Screens cannot reliably represent printed color. A sample lets you examine the pastel rainbow colors in your room lighting, compare the available materials and test adhesion on your actual wall before purchasing the complete design.
