Description
Fairytale Mountain Castle Watercolor Wall Decal
Create an imaginative storybook landscape with this fairytale mountain watercolor wall decal. Pastel mountains rise beneath whimsical castles, colorful hot air balloons, soft clouds and a rainbow, while tropical foliage and delicate plants complete the magical scene.
This scenic wall decal creates a beautiful focal point above a crib, bed, dresser, reading corner or play area. Its softly layered watercolor colors complement neutral nurseries, pastel children’s bedrooms, imaginative playrooms and travel-inspired spaces for girls or boys.
This is not rectangular wallpaper or a full-wall mural. The artwork is cut around the fairytale landscape, allowing your existing wall color to remain visible around the mountains, castles, balloons, rainbow and foliage.

Choose Your Material
Removable Vinyl
A thin wall decal material with a smooth surface and minimal luster. Its bright printed colors create an appearance similar to painted artwork on a compatible wall. Vinyl is not designed to be repositioned repeatedly after application and may include transfer tape to assist with installation.
Vinyl adhesion can be affected by certain low-VOC, zero-VOC, stain-resistant and highly washable paints. Order a sample and test it on the actual wall before purchasing the complete design.
Self-Adhesive Fabric
A flexible matte polyester wall material printed with GREENGUARD Gold certified inks. It can be repositioned during installation and is generally easier to handle when installing larger artwork. Its soft fabric-like texture makes it our preferred option for nursery and children’s room installations.
Light wall texture may remain visible beneath the material. Heavily textured walls, sharp texture peaks and improperly prepared surfaces can interfere with adhesion.
Wall Preparation
Install the decal only on a clean, dry and properly painted interior wall. Remove dust, grease and cleaning-product residue before installation.
Allow newly painted walls to cure for at least six weeks. Some specialty, low-VOC, zero-VOC and stain-resistant paints may require a longer curing period or additional adhesion testing.
Wall paint, texture and surface preparation can affect adhesion. Testing a material sample on the actual wall is the most reliable way to confirm compatibility.
Why Order a Sample?
Order a sample before purchasing the complete wall decal to evaluate:
- Printed colors in your room’s lighting
- Material texture and finish
- Adhesion to your specific wall paint
- Compatibility with your wall texture
- Your comfort working with the selected material
Computer and mobile screens display colors differently. A physical sample is the only reliable way to evaluate the printed colors in your space.
